Merletti Garden Design deal with the design and realisation of works that, besides having an aesthetical worthiness, allow to achieve social as well as environmental benefits.

Design of urban areas
Urban parks, areas for outdoor games and sports, urban gardens, squares and aggregation places: we face a deepened design route, paying particular attention to the functional and structural role of the space, we carefully choose all materials in order to get a better landscape level and to grant high functionality and quality.

Planning and running of the urban greenery
The conduct of the urban greenery is a particularly important item in the economic yearly balance of a public administration. A good organisational level as well as the planning of the interventions permit to get a higher quality, correct expenses forecast and elimination of a little rational use of human and financial resources.

Design, reutilization and exploitation of greenways
The “greenways” can set up a net of routes destined to a circulation that excludes the motorisation. The most known are surely the cycleways, the pedestrian crossings and the equestrian routes. An added value is given by the opportunity for the consumers to get in touch with the natural, agricultural, landscape, historical and artistic resources of the territory.

Sceneries and roads fitting in
The landscape is the panorama perceived by the car driver as a way to identify and comprehend the environment he is going through. Our intervention consists in choosing and placing in the most suitable way the vegetation that will form an “optical guide” for the car driver by signalling at point distance the progress of the route. The correct use of the vegetation can connect the road to the landscape, by framing the panoramic views and screening the disagreeable ones. We compose the profile of the green materials considering sizes, type of foliage, colours, transparencies, opacity, empty spaces, full spaces and superimposing pictures. We also propose, under an echo-friendly point of view, the association of the project of road axis setting-in together with the project of the public spaces existing on the concerned territory.

Design of echo-friendly networks
An echo-friendly network is an instrument responding to the necessity to create connections among the natural areas, in order to get a unitary space system, designed in such a way that any intervention could make part of a general plan, shared by the several administrators of the territory and that can be realised progressively in the time so as to improve quantity and quality of fauna, enhance the biodiversity and keep pollution under control.

Environment mitigation and compensation works
In the light of the many actions of territory transformations that could lead to heavy negative impacts, Merletti Garden Design proposes and realises environment mitigation and compensation works paying particular attention to the nearby landscape.

Arrangements, restoring and recoveries of extraction units
The extraction units, as for instance the pits, can, by aid of focused interventions, become naturalistic or greenery sites at the community’s disposal, i.e, they could become landscape and environment enhancement cores.

Naturalistic engineering interventions
Through the use of live tree or parts of them, combined with inert natural materials or artificial biodegradable materials we can reduce the risks of erosion of the soil during the strengthening interventions, with a very low environmental impact.

Analysis and evaluations
We process reports and landscape analysis, declarations of compatibility, environmental impact evaluations.

Greenery planning
As a support to holiday villages, golf courses, theme parks, private parks and sport facilities, we realise greenery planning with the aim to schedule the maintenance interventions (plants health treatments, manuring, pruning and so on).

Evaluation of trees stability and agronomic estimate
We realise phytopathology inspections focused on the individuation of degeneration phenomenon on leaves, stalks, branches and roots, chemical analysis, visual and instrumental evaluations.
